First day out

Day 1 on the slopes was a success! Killington was getting absolutely dumped on by the end of the day. Also super pumped and grateful to be skiing on these beautiful 2015 Volkl Kenja's all year long. They are sick! These skies are medium width and built for all mountain speed and off-trail versatility. Cannot wait to take them in the woods at Stowe when I get back up to UVM.

Little peak at the snow dumping down around 2pm, this trail under the Snowden tripel will surely be covered by at least a foot of snow by tomorrow. So stoked to be back on the hill!

Gettin' Fitted

Woohoo! First post of the season! Got my amazingly beautiful brand spankin' new Lange XT 100 LV women's boots fitted today with custom orthopedics and foam courtesy of Sure Foot custom ski boot fitters in Killington. I cannot express enough how awesome these boots are. Due to a gracious sponsorship, I have been wearing Lange boots my entire life. While racing I was used to wearing the most uncomfortable boots known to man, Lange competite plug boots, and these new Lange XT's are basically the equivalent to skiing on puppies while skiing on clouds.

As one of the thousands of winter athletes who has made the switch from the uncomfortable boot lifestyle of intense ski racing to a more relaxed and fun- loving ski lifestyle, I would recommend these babies to absolutely anyone coming off the race circuit, make sure you get the custom foam as well!
